My leftover yarn ends basket was overflowing, which generally means it is time to bust some stash. So I made two new rugs. One uses only white/cream leftover yarn as the ‘base colour,’ and then I switched between three boucle yarn colour variations (but all neutrals), for texture and contrast. I made it to fit the area in front of my sink and coffee station.
Since I had so much leftover yarn, I made another rug. This one doesn’t have as much texture as the first, but what it lacks in varied textures, it more than makes up for in colour. And it’s a big one; approximately 5×4′. It’s all bright n’ happy n’ stuff. Here’s a picture of it pre-blocking (it’s a bit longer after blocking).
